1 Who sends these texts

Nacho, a product of Vance Labs LLC, answers the phone and takes pickup orders for restaurants. When a caller asks for it, Nacho texts them about their order on the restaurant's behalf. Every text starts with “Nacho for” and the restaurant's name.

2 How callers agree

2.1

Near the end of a phone order, after reading the order back and taking a name, Nacho asks this, word for word (shown for an example restaurant; callers speaking Spanish or French hear the same words in their language):

2.2

“Can we text you updates on this order? They come from Nacho for Main Street Pizza, usually one text per order. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.”

2.3

Only a clear yes counts, and it is saved for that phone number. If the caller says no, or anything else, they get no texts. Ordering never depends on saying yes. Callers can't be signed up any other way: there is no text-to-join keyword, no web form, and no bought or shared lists.

3 What callers get

3.1

An order confirmation once the order is placed. If the order is paid ahead, it can include the restaurant's own payment link, written out in full (no link shorteners). For example:

3.2

“Nacho for Main Street Pizza: order confirmed. 2x Pepperoni Pizza, 1x Garlic Knots. Total $38.52 (incl. $2.52 tax). Pickup code 4821. Ready around 6:15 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”

3.3

If the restaurant can't make the order, a notice instead. For example:

3.4

“Nacho for Main Street Pizza: sorry, the restaurant couldn't confirm your order in time, so it's canceled and won't be made. Reply STOP to opt out.”

3.5

We never send marketing or promotional texts.

4 How often

Usually one text per order. Message and data rates may apply.

5 Stopping texts and getting help

5.1

Reply STOP to any text to stop them. You'll get one message confirming it and nothing after that. Reply START to turn them back on.

5.2

Reply HELP for help, or email products.vance@gmail.com. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6 Your privacy

We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number, your yes to texts, or any texting data to any third party or affiliate for their marketing. Read our privacy policy and terms of service.
